Jeanne BalsamSecretary 2007-2008
Jeanne Balsam is a Senior Research Scientist with the Georgia Tech Research Institute’s (GTRI) Electronic Systems Laboratory. She has thirty years of experience in computer software systems in the fields of real-time computer systems, data base design, software engineering, data acquisition, and quality assurance. Ms. Balsam has published and presented numerous papers at national conferences (NDIA Systems Engineering, NDIA CMMI, SEPG, etc.) on software development, testing, and systems engineering; topics include quality assurance on small projects, configuration management, and implementing an effective peer review process. She co-authored a chapter on “Software Quality Assurance on Small Projects” in the 4th edition of the Handbook of Software Quality Assurance. Ms. Balsam has both a BS and MS in Information and Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
